MOVE THROUGH EACH DAY WITH INTENTION

With the year coming to an end (thank God 😅) it's likely that you've started to see people talk about New Year's resolutions. A lot of the time, New Year's resolutions have to do with resetting ourselves at the beginning of the year to fit into a superficial mold created by society. This is the time where people mass sign up for new gym memberships, start fad diets, and buy into the latest trends - all unsustainable goals without meaningful intention. It's no wonder those lists never get checked off.

How many times have we fallen into this trap over the years? Or even watched as the people around us have done the same? –We start the year fired up with our "New Year, New Me" resolutions. However, as January turns into February we are no longer interested or realize that we can not continue to sustain those resolutions. Then at the end of the year, we feel guilty and unaccomplished and start the cycle all over again. Reflecting on this brought about a realization: We must not only set meaningful intentions but align our actions with that energy if we want to see real change and growth in our lives.

With that being said, setting meaningful intentions is not as rigid as creating a checklist & as we move through the year our experiences will change us– and as we grow, our intention with it. –This is what we mean when we say "Move through each day with intention".

So as you set your meaningful intentions at the beginning of the year, know that you will have to carry these with you daily and that from time to time you'll need to reflect and readjust as needed. Aligning your actions with the energy of the intentions you set will not only help you manifest the life you dream but begin to change the world in and around you.
